To Celebrate the Season of Imbolc 2020 faerie was inspired to create an illustration of Brigid as she appears to her in her spiritual practice.
Faerie works with Brigid as goddess of transformation and inspirational fires and healing wells, as well as activist saint with the magikal mantle that she lays upon the land to save the people.
"Ring the Bells That Still Can Ring, Forget Your Perfect Offering, There's A Crack In Everything, That Is How The Light Gets In" (Leonard Cohen) - Brigid sings to a circle of witches as she places fire in their bellies.
In the spirit of imperfect offerings faerie depicted her as others may not have seen her before - united with a Lion friend to ignite the 'Strength' major arcana card to help us hone our courage and bravery. "Remember Who You Are" they roar.
In Glastonbury at the White Springs, she appeared as a White Swan and she flew me to the Wildwood.
May her open heart pour forth healing upon you.
