I used to share a picket fence with my beloved neighbours and as pickets needed replacing I took the old and painted on them, I LOVE painting on recycled surfaces so much and I love the fact that this wood has had time in our garden, on the edge, the periphery, a magik space.
I love that it was a tree, it was a fence, it's now a painting.
The words 'Be Here Now' are deeply relaxing for me. Immediately upon reading or speaking these words, I become present, I come back to my breath. The phase is like a touchstone to transport me to peace. Birds have come to symbolise the breath also, whenever I see or hear a bird's call I come back to my breath and here I find peace again.
I hope this painting helps you also return to peace, to still the mind and open the heart.
